Tips:
- Measuring Ingredients: Use a kitchen scale for precise measurement of ingredients, especially flour and sugar, to ensure the perfect dough consistency.
- Chilling the Dough: Chilling the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking helps prevent the cookies from spreading too much and keeps them thick and chewy.
- Rolling the Dough: Roll out the dough to an even thickness to ensure uniform baking. Consider using guides or a rolling pin with thickness rings for accuracy.
- Baking the Cookies: Bake the cookies in a preheated oven to ensure even baking and prevent undercooked or overcooked cookies. Rotate the baking sheets halfway through baking for even browning.
- Cooling the Cookies: Allow the cookies to cool completely on wire racks before storing or serving. This helps prevent them from becoming soggy.
