1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles
½ cup butter
⅓ cup all-purpose flour
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper

⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

1/2 c onion, chopped
1/2 c celery, chopped
2 clove garlic, minced
1/4 c (1/2 stick) butter
1/2 c all purpose flour
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
4 c chicken broth
1 pkg (10 oz.) frozen peas (or may use peas & carrots)
4 c chicken, cooked and cubed
FOR THE DUMPLINGS:
2 c buttermilk biscuit mix
2/3 c milk

Steps:

  • 1. In a large saucepan or large, deep skillet, saute onion, celery, and garlic in butter until tender.
  • 2. Add flour, sugar, salt, pepper, and broth; bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 1 minute; reduce heat. Add peas and cook for 5 minutes, stirring. Stir in the chicken.
