AMAZING 4 INGREDIENT STEAK MARINADE

Amazing 4 Ingredient Steak Marinade image

I found this recipe on Cooks.com and have not tried another marinade since (its called "Grilled Steak Marinade" if you want to check it out there). Time 5m

Yield 2 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Mix the ingredients together. Combine marinade with steaks (I usually combine with 2 16 oz. new yorks or t-bones, when they are on sale ofcourse). Cooks.com says to marinate for 2-3 hours, I usually marinate overnight.

Tips:

  • Choose a high-quality steak: Look for steaks that are well-marbled and have a good amount of fat. This will help the steak stay tender and juicy during cooking.
  • Don't over-marinate the steak: Marinating the steak for too long can make it tough. For best results, marinate the steak for no more than 24 hours.
  • Bring the steak to room temperature before cooking: This will help the steak cook evenly. Remove the steak from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before you plan to cook it.
  • Cook the steak over high heat: This will help to sear the outside of the steak and lock in the juices. Cook the steak for 3-5 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
  • Let the steak rest before slicing: This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the steak, making it more tender and flavorful. Let the steak rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Conclusion:

With so many delicious options to choose from, you're sure to find a 4-ingredient steak marinade recipe that you'll love. Whether you're looking for a classic marinade or something more unique, there's something for everyone. So next time you're grilling steaks, be sure to give one of these marinades a try. You won't be disappointed!
