AMARULA BLENDED (SHAKE)

Amarula Blended (Shake) image

It's hard to go wrong with Amarula and very easy to make a variety of cocktails. This is a shake I make for hot lazy days when I need a little pick-me up. Made with Amarula, Kahlua and cream. If you enjoy the flavors of chocolate, caramel and vanilla, give this a try ;) I'm being modest in these measurements, I like mine a tot stronger.

Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken: For this recipe, it's best to use boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs. If you're using breasts, slice them into thin strips. If you're using thighs, cut them into 1-inch pieces.
  • Marinate the chicken: The marinade is what gives the chicken its delicious flavor. Be sure to let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight. Stir the chicken occasionally to ensure all the pieces are evenly coated in the marinade.
  • Use a heavy-bottomed skillet: A heavy-bottomed skillet will help prevent the chicken from sticking and will evenly distribute the heat. If you don't have a heavy-bottomed skillet, you can use a regular skillet over medium heat.
  • Don't overcrowd the skillet: When cooking the chicken, don't overcrowd the skillet. This will prevent the chicken from cooking evenly. If necessary, cook the chicken in batches.
  • Cook the chicken until it's cooked through: The chicken is cooked through when it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. You can check the chicken's temperature with a meat thermometer.
  • Serve the chicken immediately: Once the chicken is cooked, serve it immediately with your favorite sides. Enjoy!

Conclusion:

Amarula chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. The chicken is marinated in a flavorful mixture of Amarula liqueur, spices, and herbs, then grilled or pan-fried to perfection. The result is a tender, juicy chicken that is bursting with flavor. Serve Amarula chicken with your favorite sides, such as rice, potatoes, or vegetables, and enjoy!
