"Amaretto gives this drink a fun twist! Frosty glasses rimmed with amaretto and sugar make this drink even better."
4 fluid ounces amaretto liqueur, plus
additional
white sugar
6 fluid ounces frozen limeade concentrate 6 fluid ounces tequila
1/2 cup orange juice
6 cups ice

Steps:

  • Dip the rims of 4 margarita glasses in amaretto, then into sugar; set aside. Pour the limeaid, tequila, amaretto, orange juice, and ice into the bowl of a blender. Puree until smooth, then pour into prepared glasses.

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh lime juice and orange liqueur will give your margarita the best flavor.
  • Chill your ingredients: Chilling your tequila, lime juice, and orange liqueur will help to make your margarita more refreshing.
  • Use a good quality tequila: A good quality tequila will make a big difference in the flavor of your margarita. Look for a tequila that is 100% agave and has a smooth, slightly sweet flavor.
  • Don't overshake your margarita: Overshaking your margarita will make it watery and dilute the flavor. Shake your margarita just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Serve your margarita with a lime wedge and salt: A lime wedge and salt are the classic garnishes for a margarita. They add a refreshing and salty flavor that complements the sweetness of the margarita.
