Tips:

  • Use a kitchen scale to measure your ingredients. This will ensure that you get the most accurate results and that your cookies turn out perfectly every time.
  • Make sure your butter is at room temperature. This will make it easier to cream together with the sugar and will result in a lighter, fluffier cookie.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing can make the cookies tough and chewy. Mix the dough just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking. This will help the cookies to keep their shape and will also make them less likely to spread in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set. Overbaking will make the cookies dry and crumbly. The cookies should be slightly soft in the center when you take them out of the oven.

Conclusion:

Almond logs are a delicious and festive cookie that is perfect for any occasion. They are easy to make and can be decorated in a variety of ways. These tips will help you to make the best almond logs possible.
