CHOCOLATE-CHERRY BROWNIE CAKE

Chocolate-Cherry Brownie Cake image

My grandmother taught me the tricks to making this cake, and I've added my own special touches. The melted chocolate keeps the icing from being too dry and gives it a texture similar to chocolate ice cream. I have more requests for the icing than I do anything else! -Susan Hayes, Massapequa, New York

Tips for a Perfect Almond Cherry Cake Brownie:

  • Use fresh or frozen cherries for the best flavor and texture. If using frozen cherries, thaw them before using and drain off any excess liquid.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in a tough brownie. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the brownies until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached. Overbaking will result in dry brownies.
  • Let the brownies cool completely before cutting and serving. This will help them to set and hold their shape.
  • Serve the brownies with a dollop of whipped cream or ice cream. This will add a delicious and creamy richness to the brownies.

Conclusion:

Almond cherry cake brownies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With their moist and fudgy texture, sweet and tangy flavor, and beautiful appearance, these brownies are sure to be a hit at any gathering. So next time you're looking for a special dessert, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
