Tips:

  • Choose high-quality veal cutlets for the most tender and flavorful schnitzel.
  • Use a meat mallet to pound the veal cutlets thin, this will help them cook evenly and quickly.
  • Season the cutlets with salt, pepper, and paprika before breading them.
  • Use a light hand when breading the cutlets, too much breading will make them greasy and heavy.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit before cooking the schnitzel.
  • Cook the schnitzel in batches, overcrowding the air fryer will prevent them from cooking evenly.
  • Cook the schnitzel for 5-7 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve the schnitzel immediately with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, or roasted vegetables.

Conclusion:

Air fryer wiener schnitzel is a quick and easy way to enjoy this classic Austrian dish. The air fryer makes the schnitzel crispy and flavorful, without all the grease of traditional frying. Serve the schnitzel with your favorite sides and enjoy!
