Tips:
- Prep the rice paper: Dip each rice paper wrapper in warm water for a few seconds until it becomes pliable. Lay it flat on a clean surface.
- Use fresh and flavorful ingredients: The quality of your ingredients will greatly impact the taste of your spring rolls. Use fresh vegetables, herbs, and cooked shrimp or tofu.
- Don't overfill the spring rolls: Overfilling the spring rolls will make them difficult to roll and may cause them to break when frying.
- Fold the spring rolls tightly: Make sure to fold the spring rolls tightly so that the filling doesn't spill out during cooking.
- Air fry at the right temperature and time: Cook the spring rolls in a preheated air fryer at 400°F for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve with a dipping sauce: Serve the spring rolls with a traditional Vietnamese dipping sauce made with fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, and garlic.
