1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp sweet smoked paprika or other seasonings such as Cajun seasoning, BBQ seasoning or garlic granules
½ tsp mixed herbs

  • Cook, in batches, in a single layer in your air fryer basket for around 10-15 mins, until lightly golden, giving a little shake or toss after 5 mins. Once all the batches have cooked, return the fries to the air fryer, give it a good shake and cook for a further 1-2 mins to heat through.

Tips:

  • Choose the right sweet potatoes: Look for firm, unblemished sweet potatoes that are about the same size. This will help them cook evenly.
  • Cut the potatoes into even strips: This will help them cook evenly and get crispy. You can use a mandoline or a sharp knife to cut the potatoes.
  • Toss the potatoes with oil and seasonings: This will help them get crispy and flavorful. You can use any type of oil you like, such as olive oil, avocado oil, or vegetable oil. As for seasonings, you can use salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, or any other herbs and spices you like.
  • Preheat your air fryer: This will help the potatoes cook evenly and get crispy. Most air fryers have a preheat setting, but if yours doesn't, simply set it to the highest temperature for 3-5 minutes before adding the potatoes.
  • Cook the potatoes in batches: Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket, or the potatoes won't cook evenly. Cook the potatoes in batches if necessary.
  • Shake the potatoes halfway through cooking: This will help them cook evenly and get crispy all over.
  • Serve the potatoes immediately: Sweet potato curly fries are best served hot and crispy. You can serve them with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ketchup, ranch dressing, or honey mustard.

Conclusion:

Air fryer sweet potato curly fries are a delicious and healthy snack or side dish. They're easy to make and can be customized to your liking.
