Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of pork: For schnitzel, you want a thin, boneless cut of pork, such as pork loin or pork tenderloin. You can also use chicken or veal cutlets if you prefer.
  • Pound the pork cutlets thin: This will help them cook evenly and make them more tender. You can use a meat mallet or a rolling pin to pound the pork cutlets to about 1/4-inch thick.
  • Season the pork cutlets: Before cooking, season the pork cutlets with salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings. You can also add a breadcrumb coating or a flour coating to the pork cutlets before cooking.
  • Cook the pork cutlets in a single layer: This will help them cook evenly and prevent them from steaming. You may need to cook the pork cutlets in batches if your air fryer is not large enough to accommodate all of them at once.
  • Cook the pork cutlets until they are golden brown and crispy: The cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the pork cutlets and the temperature of your air fryer. Cook the pork cutlets until they are cooked through and no longer pink in the center.

Conclusion:

Air fryer pork schnitzel is a quick and easy meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. It is also a healthier alternative to traditional fried schnitzel, as it is cooked with less oil. Serve the pork schnitzel with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.
