Time 50m

Yield 2 to 4 servings

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon ground rosemary
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dark brown sugar
1 bone-in, skin-on turkey breast (about 2 1/2 pounds)
Olive oil, for brushing

Steps:

  • Mix together the salt, thyme, rosemary, pepper, sage, garlic powder, paprika and brown sugar in a small bowl.
  • Brush the turkey breast with olive oil and rub on both sides with the dry rub mixture, making sure to get under the skin wherever possible. Put the turkey skin-side down in the basket of a 3.5-quart air fryer and roast at 360 degrees F for 20 minutes.
  • Carefully open the air fryer and flip the turkey over so it is skin-side up. Close the air fryer and roast until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the meat registers 165 degrees F, about an additional 15 minutes. Let rest at least 10 minutes, then slice and serve.

Time 30m

Yield 5

Number Of Ingredients 11

¾ cup panko bread crumbs
¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
¼ cup prepared fresh basil pesto
1 large egg
2 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons ricotta cheese
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
¼ teaspoon granulated garlic
1 pound ground turkey

Steps:

  • Combine panko, Parmesan cheese, pesto, egg, milk, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and garlic in a large bowl; mix together. Add ground turkey and lightly fold into the mixture--the more you mix the tougher it will be.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 5 minutes.
  • Shape ground turkey mixture into 1-1/2 inch meatballs and place into the air fryer basket.
  • Cook meatballs in the air fryer until cooked through, 8 to 10 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

Tips:

  • Choose the right ground turkey: Look for ground turkey that is at least 85% lean. This will help to ensure that your meatballs are juicy and flavorful.
  • Season the ground turkey well: Don't be afraid to use a variety of seasonings to flavor your meatballs. Some good options include garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, and chili powder.
  • Mix the ground turkey thoroughly: This will help to ensure that the seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the meatballs.
  • Form the meatballs into uniform shapes: This will help them to cook evenly.
  • Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket: Leave some space between the meatballs so that they can cook evenly.
  • Cook the meatballs until they are cooked through: The internal temperature of the meatballs should reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Serve the meatballs hot: Meatballs are best served hot, so make sure to serve them immediately after they are cooked.

Air fryer ground turkey is a quick, easy, and delicious way to prepare ground turkey.
