AIR FRYER CHURROS

Air Fryer Churros image

Who doesn't love churros? They're a delicious cinnamon-sugar treat, and making them in an air fryer takes them from a guilty treat into a sweet treat. After over 7 experiments, I do NOT recommend using a parchment paper liner. I do NOT recommend adding the cinnamon sugar to the dough.

Tips:

  • Use cold butter: Using cold butter helps to create flaky layers in the churro stix.
  • Chill the dough: Chilling the dough before frying helps to firm it up and makes it easier to handle.
  • Use a star tip: A star tip creates the classic churro shape. If you don't have a star tip, you can use a round tip.
  • Fry the churro stix in hot oil: The oil should be hot enough to fry the churro stix quickly and evenly.
  • Drain the churro stix on paper towels: This helps to remove any excess oil.
  • Serve the churro stix immediately: Churro stix are best served fresh and warm.
