Timing will be most determined by how thick the burger patties are. Depending on your air fryer and cooked preference, you might need to add a little time for thicker patties, or a little less of thin patties. Some frozen patties come pre-seasoned, while others are not. Season to taste if needed. You don't need to thaw the burger patties before air frying. Do not preheat the air fryer before cooking the frozen patties.

Tips for Air Frying Frozen Burgers:

  • Thaw Frozen Burgers Partially: Before air frying, let the burgers thaw for 5-10 minutes at room temperature. This helps prevent the burgers from becoming too dry.
  • Preheat Your Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to the desired temperature before cooking the burgers. This helps ensure that the burgers cook evenly.
  • Cook Burgers in Batches: If you're cooking multiple burgers, cook them in batches to prevent overcrowding the air fryer basket. This will help the burgers cook more evenly.
  • Flip Burgers Halfway Through Cooking: About halfway through the cooking time, flip the burgers to ensure that they cook evenly on both sides.
  • Use a Meat Thermometer: To ensure that the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. The USDA recommends cooking ground beef to a minimum internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  • Season the Burgers: Before cooking, season the burgers with your favorite seasonings. This will help enhance the flavor of the burgers.
