Air Fryer Lemon-Pepper Wings image

We love wings in my household and thanks to the air fryer we are able to eat them more often without the guilt of deep-fry. Buffalo flavor is my go-to but I was wanting something different. Something with bold flavor but no heat and I came up with these.

Tips:

  • Choose the right wings: Look for wings that are plump and have a good amount of meat on them. Avoid wings that are too small or have a lot of feathers.
  • Dry the wings thoroughly: This will help the wings to crisp up in the air fryer. You can pat them dry with a paper towel or use a salad spinner.
  • Season the wings generously: Use a flavorful blend of spices, such as lemon pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. You can also add a little bit of salt and black pepper.
  • Preheat the air fryer: This will help the wings to cook evenly. Most air fryers have a preheat setting, but if yours doesn't, simply set it to the highest temperature and let it run for a few minutes.
  • Cook the wings in batches: Don't overcrowd the air fryer, or the wings won't cook evenly. Cook the wings in batches of 4-6 wings at a time.
  • Shake the wings halfway through cooking: This will help the wings to cook evenly and prevent them from sticking to the air fryer basket.
  • Cook the wings until they are crispy and golden brown: The cook time will vary depending on the size of the wings and the model of air fryer you are using. Check the wings frequently to make sure they don't overcook.

Conclusion:

Air-fried lemon pepper wings are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack. They are perfect for game day, parties, or a casual get-together. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make these wings in your air fryer in just a few minutes. So next time you're looking for a tasty and healthy snack, give air-fried lemon pepper wings a try!
