Tips for Making the Best Agave Fried Chicken:

  • Use a well-seasoned cast iron skillet or heavy-bottomed pot for frying the chicken. This will help to ensure that the chicken cooks evenly and develops a crispy crust.
  • Make sure that the oil is hot enough before adding the chicken. If the oil is not hot enough, the chicken will absorb too much oil and become greasy.
  • Do not overcrowd the skillet or pot with chicken. If you do, the chicken will not cook evenly.
  • Fry the chicken in batches, if necessary. This will help to ensure that all of the chicken is cooked properly.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the chicken. The chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

Conclusion:

Agave fried chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. The agave nectar in the marinade helps to tenderize the chicken and gives it a slightly sweet flavor. The chicken is then fried until it is crispy and golden brown. Serve the chicken with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, gravy, or coleslaw.
