Tips:

  • Choose high-quality ingredients: Use real cocoa powder, high-quality chocolate, and fresh milk for the best flavor.
  • Don't over-mix the batter: Over-mixing can make the pancakes tough.
  • Let the batter rest: Letting the batter rest for a few minutes before cooking allows the ingredients to fully hydrate and results in a more tender pancake.
  • Cook the pancakes over medium heat: Cooking the pancakes over medium heat helps to prevent them from burning.
  • Flip the pancakes only once: Flipping the pancakes too often can make them tough.
  • Serve the pancakes immediately: Pancakes are best served fresh off the griddle.
