¼ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups buttermilk
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 ½ cups mashed bananas
½ cup butter, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
3 ½ cups confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Tips:

  • Use ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your cake will be.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can make the cake tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Don't open the oven door during baking: This can cause the cake to fall.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting: This will help the frosting to set properly.

With its moist and fluffy texture, sweet banana flavor, and creamy frosting, this cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
