Steps:
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef. Set aside to drain and cool to room temperature.
- Spread the beans into the bottom of a 9x13 inch serving tray that is about 1 1/2 inches deep. Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded cheese on top of beans. Sprinkle beef on top of cheese. Spread sour cream very slowly on top of beef. Spread guacamole on top of sour cream. Pour salsa over guacamole and spread evenly. Sprinkle remaining shredded cheese. Sprinkle black olives, tomatoes, and green onions on top.
- You can serve this dish immediately, or refrigerate it over night and serve cold. I think it tastes better at room temperature.

SUNNY'S EASY 7-LAYER GYRO DIP
One of my favorite things to order for delivery from a Greek restaurant is a gyro salad. It has all the things you want inside a gyro sandwich, but in salad form. It usually comes with two warm pitas on the side, so I love to make my own gyro from all the elements. This is a dip that gives me all those vibes and more. It's great with pita chips or as an easy way to serve gyros to a group without having several topping bowls. Just have warm pita on the side and a spoon to scoop the dip. Sometimes, I serve it this way with crisp, shredded lettuce in a bowl on the side.

Steps:
- For the lamb: In a large pan on medium heat, add the olive oil. When it begins to swirl, add the onion, garlic, oregano, lamb, salt and plenty of black pepper. Combine the ingredients, breaking up the lamb while cooking, until it is browned, about 10 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon to a paper towel-lined plate.
- Layer the dip. In an 8-inch square dish, layer in this order: Spread the hummus on the bottom, then sprinkle evenly with the lamb, feta, tomatoes and cucumbers. Spread the tzatziki dip over the top and sprinkle with the dill to finish. Serve with the pita chips.
Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients for the best flavor. Look for fresh vegetables, ripe avocados, and creamy sour cream.
- Make the dip ahead of time to allow the flavors to meld. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Serve the dip with a variety of dippers, such as tortilla chips, vegetable sticks, or pita bread.
- Garnish the dip with fresh herbs, such as cilantro or chives, for a pop of color and flavor.
- If you're short on time, you can use canned or frozen refried beans instead of making your own.
- If you don't have a food processor, you can mash the avocados and beans by hand.
- Feel free to experiment with different variations of the dip, such as adding chopped jalapeños or corn.
Conclusion:
This 7-layer dip is a classic party appetizer that is always a hit with guests. It's easy to make, delicious, and can be customized to your own taste preferences. So next time you're looking for a crowd-pleasing dip, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
