My adopted recipe for fudge has reviews submitted that state the fudge did not set up well. I incorporated my recipe using sweetened condensed with this recipe and the fudge was firm and very tasty.

I double the recipe and put in a glass baking dish (9x13 inches). Nice for holidays . . . Keep it for a secret and family and friends will think you worked forever on it . . . (smiles). You can also use peanut butter chips and make peanut butter fudge.

5 INGREDIENT FUDGE

5 Ingredient Fudge image

This came from a taste of Home magazine and looks simple and tasty. It states you are just moments away from fudge. Just microwave, stir and spread. As I'm a fudge fanatic but also a failure when it comes to making it this sounds right up my alley. There are several other recipes similar on here but they all seem to include peanut butter and this doesn't. Prep time does not include chilling

Tips:

  • Use a heavy-bottomed saucepan: This will help to distribute the heat evenly and prevent the fudge from scorching.
  • Don't overcook the fudge: The fudge is done when it reaches a temperature of 234°F (112°C). If you overcook it, it will become too thick and crumbly.
  • Let the fudge cool completely before cutting it: This will help to prevent the fudge from sticking to the knife.
  • Store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature: The fudge will keep for up to 2 weeks.
  • To make the fudge even more decadent, you can add chopped nuts, dried fruit, or marshmallows.

Conclusion:

This 5-ingredient fudge recipe is a quick and easy way to make a delicious treat. The fudge is rich, creamy, and chocolatey, and it's perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple steps, you can create a delicious dessert that everyone will love. So what are you waiting for? Give this recipe a try today!
