Tips:

  • Choose the right ravioli. For this recipe, it's best to use a large, square or rectangular ravioli. This will ensure that they cook evenly and don't fall apart.
  • Don't overcook the ravioli. Cook the ravioli according to the package directions, or until they are just tender. Overcooked ravioli will be mushy and fall apart.
  • Use a good quality cheese. The cheese is the star of this dish, so it's important to use a good quality cheese that melts well. A sharp cheddar or mozzarella cheese is a good option.
  • Add some vegetables. To make this dish even more hearty, add some vegetables such as broccoli, spinach, or zucchini. Simply sauté the vegetables until they are tender and then add them to the casserole.
  • Serve immediately. This dish is best served immediately after it is made. The ravioli will be at their best when they are hot and cheesy.
