OLD FASHIONED TRIPLE LEMON CAKE
This recipe uses 3 lemons, thus the name "triple". Three lemons will yield enough juice and rind needed for this recipe.

- 2. Put all in mixer and combine together. Pour mixture in greased and floured bundnt pan or tube pan. Bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes or until tested done.
- 3. I've used many different combinations of cake mix and pie fillings and it always turns out great. I used a fudge cake mix and cherry pie filling and topped with powdered sugar glaze. Delicious!
Tips:
- Choose ripe lemons: Using ripe lemons will ensure that your lemonade cake has a bright and tangy flavor. Look for lemons that are yellow and slightly soft to the touch.
- Zest the lemons before juicing them: Zesting the lemons before juicing them will help to release the essential oils from the peel, which will give your cake a more intense lemon flavor.
- Use fresh lemon juice: Fresh lemon juice will give your cake the best flavor. Avoid using bottled lemon juice, as it can have a bitter taste.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy: This will help to incorporate air into the batter, which will make your cake light and airy.
- Add the eggs one at a time: Adding the eggs one at a time will help to prevent the batter from curdling.
- Fold in the dry ingredients gently: Overmixing the batter can toughen the cake. Fold in the dry ingredients just until they are combined.
- Bake the cake at the correct temperature: The cake should be baked at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Conclusion:
This 3-ingredient lemonade cake is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. The cake is light and fluffy, with a bright and tangy lemon flavor. It is also very moist, thanks to the addition of lemon juice and buttermilk. This cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it!
