GOT THE 2BLEU'S HOT SAUCE

Got the 2bleu's Hot Sauce image

This will bring tears to your eyes! CAUTION: This is EXTREMELY HOT!!! This is our version of Harrisa, taking it from a paste to a sauce. There is a nice hint of garlic along with other spices in this wonderful condiment. This could easily be compared with habanero sauce, but you'll notice there is no vinegar in this recipe. Use it on grilled beef or lamb. For folks who say they can't find a sauce hot enough, this one will blow them away.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients, the better the sauce will taste. Use fresh tomatoes, garlic, and basil. If you can, use San Marzano tomatoes, which are a plum tomato that is particularly flavorful and has less acidity.
  • Don't overcook the sauce. The sauce should be simmered for just a few minutes, until the tomatoes have softened and the flavors have melded. Overcooking the sauce will make it lose its fresh flavor.
  • Season the sauce to taste. Add salt, pepper, and sugar to taste. You may also want to add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little bit of heat.
  • Let the sauce cool before using. This will allow the flavors to develop further. You can make the sauce ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Conclusion:

This 2-minute pizza sauce is a quick and easy way to make a delicious, homemade pizza sauce. With just a few simple ingredients, you can have a flavorful sauce that will take your pizza to the next level. So next time you're making pizza, give this recipe a try!
