Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of pork: Pork shoulder or pork butt are great options for this recipe, as they are both flavorful and relatively inexpensive cuts of meat. If you prefer a leaner cut of pork, you can use pork loin or tenderloin.
  • Slice the pork thinly: This will help the pork cook evenly and quickly. If the pork is too thick, it will take longer to cook and may become dry.
  • Use a large skillet: This will help prevent the pork and potatoes from overcrowding the pan and ensure that they cook evenly.
  • Sear the pork before adding the potatoes: This will help to brown the pork and give it a nice flavor. Be sure to sear the pork in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  • Add the potatoes to the skillet: Once the pork is browned, add the potatoes to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
  • Add the garlic and seasonings: Once the potatoes are tender, add the garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for 1 minute, or until the garlic is fragrant.
  • Serve immediately: This dish is best served immediately after it is cooked. Serve with a side of rice or bread.

Conclusion:

This 20-minute Garlic Pork and Potatoes Skillet is a quick and easy recipe that is perfect for a weeknight dinner.
