Ah, the taste of summer. This classic lemonade recipe is the one my mom used to make for me when I was little. It's the perfect combination of sweet and tart! When using a clear pitcher, adding a few of the juiced lemon halves makes it look prettier.

FRESH SQUEEZED LEMONADE

Fresh Squeezed Lemonade image

I Love the tart and sweetness of lemonade.Lemons can get pretty expensive when they are not in season so I usually make this during the summer when lemons are at a reasonable price. Feel free to garnish with slices of lemons or mint.

Tips:

  • Fresh lemons: For the best flavor, use fresh lemons. Bottled lemon juice or lemon concentrate won't give you the same results.
  • Cold water: Use cold water to make your lemonade. This will help the sugar dissolve more easily and also make the lemonade more refreshing.
  • Sugar or honey: You can use either sugar or honey to sweeten your lemonade. If you're using honey, you may need to add a little more, as it's not as sweet as sugar.
  • Chill before serving: Be sure to chill your lemonade before serving. This will make it even more refreshing on a hot day.
  • Garnish with lemon slices: When serving, garnish your lemonade with lemon slices for an extra touch of flavor and visual appeal.

Conclusion:

Making fresh lemonade is a great way to cool down on a hot day and enjoy the delicious flavor of lemons. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make a gallon of lemonade that will be enjoyed by everyone. So next time you're looking for a refreshing drink, give this recipe a try!
